Sermorelin + GHRP-2

▸ Overview

The Sermorelin + GHRP-2 combination is a GHRH/GHRP synergy that maximizes the pulsatile release of GH. GHRP-2 is one of the most potent secretagogues; combined with Sermorelin it produces broad, well-controlled GH pulses.

▸ Mechanism of action

• GHRP-2 is a hexapeptide that acts on GHSR-1a with greater potency than Ipamorelin but with a slight elevation of cortisol.
• The GHRH (Sermorelin) + GHRP (GHRP-2) combination produces a physiological synergy similar to the natural hypothalamic axis.
• GHRP-2 inhibits somatostatin (the endogenous GH inhibitor) in addition to directly activating GH release.
• Sermorelin provides the GHRH stimulus while GHRP-2 suppresses the inhibition, resulting in amplified pulses.
• Useful when greater pulse amplitude than Ipamorelin is sought at similar doses.

▸ Administration

• Subcutaneous route: each component reconstituted separately or pre-mixed.
• Fine needles in the abdomen or thigh.
• Storage: refrigerate at 2–8 °C.

▸ Timing

• Prior fasting of 2–3 hours recommended.
• Before sleep or fasted in the morning.
• 30 minutes post-injection before food.

▸ Dosing & cycles

• Frequency: 1–2 times daily.
• Cycles: 8–12 weeks with a subsequent break.
• GHRP-2 may slightly raise cortisol; monitor on long cycles.

▸ Combinations

• An alternative to CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin for GHRH/GHRP research.
• Can be complemented with recovery or anti-aging peptides.
